로코노미라는 용어는 어떤 의미인가요?
안녕하세요. 손용준 경제·금융 전문가입니다.로코노미란 지역을 뜻하는 '로컬(Local)'과 경제를 의미하는 '이코노미(Economy)'를 합성한 신조어 입니다. 지역의 특색을 담은 제품과 가게를 생산하고 소비하는 문화 현상을 일컫는다고 하지요. 대표적인 예를 들면, 2015년에 설립된 당근마켓은 중고거래 후발주자인데, 철저한 지역 기반 직거래로 중고거래시장 1위까지 치고 올라갔다고 합니다. 기존의 중고거래는 전국 단위로 이뤄진다는 점과 먹튀 등 고질적인 단점이 있었지만, 당근마켓은 GPS 기반으로 이용자가 설정한 위치의 반경 6km 내에서 거래가 되도록 했다고 합니다. 당근마켓은 ‘당신 근처의 마켓’이라는 뜻으로 지난해 기업가치를 3조원으로 평가받으며 유니콘 기업에 올랐다고 하지요. 책을 읽을때 속독법의 장점과 단점은?
안녕하세요. 손용준 인문·예술전문가입니다. 속독의 정점은 첫째, 속독을 하면 내용을 빨리 파악하고 빨리 읽을 수 있다고 합니다. 천천히 정독하는 것보다 지식을 두 배로 얻을 수 있다고 하지요. 두 번째로는 짧은 시간에 많은 양의 글을 읽을 수 있습니다. 셋째, 아무리 바쁘더라도 긴 책을 읽을 수 있다고 합니다. 남이 책 한 권을 읽을 때 속독을 한다면 더 많은 책을 읽어서 지식을 늘릴 수 있게 되지요. 반면 단점은 책의 내용을 자세히 알아야 하거나, 곱씹는 등 고찰 과정이 필요하거나, 생전 처음 보는 분야라 이해의 시간이 필요한 경우에는 크게 도움이 되지 않는다는 것 입니다. 우리나라 최초의 여성 의사는 누구인가요?
안녕하세요. 손용준 인문·예술전문가입니다. 박에스더 라는 분이 우리나라 최초의 여성 의사 입니다. 1876년 오늘 한국 최초로 여성으로 미국에서 의과대학을 졸업하고 여성 의사가 된 에스더 박(Esther Kim Pak)이 출생했다. 본명은 김점동(金點童)이다. '에스더'는 세례명이고, '박'은 결혼한 뒤 남편의 성을 따랐다고 합니다.
